Driver Setup Fitting

The driver sits farthest from your eyes of any club in the bag, on the longest shaft, at the fastest swing speed — which means a small eye-line error at address gets amplified the most by the time the ball leaves the face.

What We Capture

Posture and Topline, Checked Together

We photograph your driver setup from directly overhead and compare it against your measured dominant-eye reading, then check how the topline crown markings on your current driver and every demo head we test actually present to your eyes from that posture — not from a generic textbook stance.

From there we separate the variables: is your perceived aim off because your ball position drifts forward under speed, or because the topline shaping on a particular head reads differently once your hands are set? Every recommendation traces back to a specific overhead comparison from your session.

The Variables

What Actually Shifts Your Perceived Aim

Stance Width

A wider driver stance changes hip and shoulder height at address, which quietly shifts eye position relative to the ball more than most golfers expect.

Tee Height

Teeing the ball higher or lower changes your eye-line angle down to the topline, altering how square the crown markings appear even with identical posture.

Crown Shape & Alignment Aid

Some heads carry a bold topline stripe, others rely on subtle shaping alone — how well either style reads depends entirely on your own eye-line at address.

Grip Thickness

Grip size changes hand height at address, which shifts shoulder tilt and, with it, where your eyes end up relative to the ball.

Adjustable Hosel Setting

Most modern drivers ship with hosel adjustability that changes face angle independent of topline alignment — worth checking even on a club you already own.

Ball Position

Ball position that drifts forward under full swing speed pulls your eye-line away from where it was when you set the alignment reference, which is worth checking under real speed, not just at a slow rehearsal.

Find Your Driver Setup Match

Sessions run 60–75 minutes with your current driver plus demo heads across major manufacturers. You'll leave with a written setup report and, if you choose, a build order.
